DAME Margaret Weston, who performed a key half in creating the Nationwide Museum of Pictures, Movie and Tv, now Media Museum, has handed away on the age of 94.
On June 16, 1983, Lord Snowden and Nationwide Science Museum director Dame Margaret formally opened the Bradford museum.

Margaret Weston was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) on 16 June 1979.
Born in Oakridge, Cambridge, she achieved the standing of Chartered Electrical Engineer in 1955 earlier than becoming a member of the Science Museum in London.
In 1967, she was appointed as the primary girls to be Keeper of the Division of Museum Providers.
